The Glen Auldyn Shoot operates in the north of the Isle of Man, near Ramsey. It is the premier, fully keepered shoot on the Island and set in a spectacular, partly wooded Glen. The birds are high quality and very testing, especially when flying down the Glen on a westerly gale – partridge darting amongst the high pheasant, and mallard flying up and down the valley. Expected bag of 200-250 birds, mainly Pheasant and Duck. Land & topography Wild and rugged steep sided valleys which presents birds very well. No two birds will show the same. Skill is required from the team and there are some very high bird drives available. Typical Itinerary pre shoot breakfast at a local country pub, short drive to the shoot , 2-3 drives a short break for refreshments and then a relocation to a higher part of the glen for another 2-3 drives, followed by a shoot lunch at a local private dining facility. Hospitality We can tailor your day to suit your requirements. Nothing is too great an ask, whether that be transfers once you reach the island, private accommodation with a chef, or a nice pub/hotel. We welcome each individual as though they were a guest.
